Terms of Use
Effective date
These Terms of Use apply from August 15, 2026.
1. Agreement
By creating an account or using CouchPotato, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be legally able to enter this agreement under the law that applies to you.
2. What the service does
CouchPotato helps you find movies and series and keep personal lists, watch history, and reactions. Features and catalog information may change as the service develops.
3. Your account
You sign in using a one-time code sent to your email. Keep access to your email secure and do not let another person use your login code. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.
4. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, bypass security controls, access another person's account or data, automate excessive requests, introduce malicious code, or use the service in violation of law or another person's rights.
5. Catalog and third-party content
Movie, series, artwork, trailer, and cast information may come from third-party sources, including TheTVDB. It can be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate and remains subject to its owners' rights and terms. Links and embedded content may take you to services that MoriTech Solutions does not control.
6. Ownership
CouchPotato and its original software, design, and branding are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, revocable right to use the service; they do not transfer ownership. You retain rights in information you submit.
7. Availability and changes
MoriTech Solutions may maintain, update, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the service. We aim to keep it available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
8. Advertising
The mobile app may display clearly labeled advertisements supplied by Google AdMob. Advertising availability and content are controlled by Google and its advertising partners, not MoriTech Solutions. Your privacy choices are available in Settings where required.
9. No warranties
To the extent allowed by law, the service is provided as is and as available. Mandatory consumer guarantees and rights that cannot legally be excluded still apply.
10. Liability
To the extent allowed by law, MoriTech Solutions is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss caused by use of or inability to use the service. Nothing here limits liability where the law does not allow a limit.
11. Ending use
You may stop using CouchPotato, log out, or permanently delete your account and data. Access may be restricted when needed to protect users, comply with law, or address serious or repeated violations.
12. Applicable law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to MoriTech Solutions, without removing mandatory protections under the law of your country of residence.
13. Changes and contact
MoriTech Solutions may update these terms when the service or legal requirements change. The effective date will be updated and material changes will be communicated when required. Use the support contact on this site for questions.
